he sixth edition of the UNTWO Global Conference on Wine Tourism was held on 19th September 2022 in Alba (CN). The conference is one of the most important international appointments dedicated to the food and wine tourism, organized by UNWTO (World Tourism Organization in United Nations), a United Nation professional agency headquartered in Madrid. The agency works with the coordination of the touristic policies and promotes the development of a responsible and sustainable tourism.
In occasion of the event, the Italian Federation of Strade del Vino, dell’Olio e dei Sapori and Iter Vitis organized the 1st International Wine Routes Conference in the Palazzo Mostre e Congressi in Alba (CN), to which the International Strade del Vino and the Strade del Vino members of the Federation were invited, to foster the exchange of good practices between territories, the mutual knowledge and make new collaborations possible.
The most important International Strade del Vino spread their good practices online and in person, their projects and the major innovations ever promoted by them. The testimonies proceeding of particularly efficient and structured realities have offered significant ideas to the reinforcement of the brand represented by Strade del Vino.
