The Italian Federation of Strade del Vino, dell’Olio e dei Sapori was born on 6th December 2017 to contribute to the creation of a strategic tourist segment for the future of the Nation, such as the rural one, the culinary one or the cultural one in general.

A body of strategical importance, official voice of the Strade del Vino, dell’Olio e dei Sapori d’Italia, representative of the agricultural and touristic enterprise of the Strade’s municipalities that today constitutes the main point of connection between public and private. The body collaborates directly with agricultural enterprises, wineries, accommodations, restaurants, thermal pools etc.

The Strade del Vino, dell’Olio e dei Sapori could be, and in some territories, they already are, an important model for the organization of the food and wine tourism. A real “hub” of reception, but also – for their public-private nature – “a place of listening and thought” and touristic territorial planning, in tight correlation with other subjects that operate in this field such as partnerships and territorial webs that possess a significant patrimony of knowledge and human resources.
The Italian Federation is the spokesman of the instances of the represented Strade, an instrument of comparison and synthesis of the different territorial realities. The Federation promotes itself as a body capable of actuating systematic actions over topics of its own competence, as well as being an instrument of connection to the main institutional referents in order to maintain a proper governance of the compartment.

The main themes of the agreement are the exchange of good practices between the different Strade members, by sharing information and interesting material, the development of educational activities, the joint participation to commercial activities, the reaching of elevated standards for enterprises, the research of economical sources to support activities and projects to elaborate, the collaboration between the Strade, the Institutes, the Associations and sectorial Consortiums for the deseasonalization of touristic flows.

The different Italian territories are represented by “spokesmen” of the different geographical areas of the Federation.
