The Charter for the Sustainable Wine and Food Tourist is a concrete mean that allows travelers to experience food and wine respecting the environment, the culture and the local community. The goal of this document is not to suggest the tourist what to do before, during and after the travel, but to give a mean that educates, promotes and stimulates sustainable behaviors, explaining reasons and opportunities that these behaviors can create for the individual, the society and the environment.
The Italian Federation of Strade del Vino, dell’Olio e dei Sapori is one of the partners of the initiative promoted by the Associazione Italiana Turismo Gastronomico (Italian Association of Culinary Tourism).
